Growing Together
EmanciLead offers a collective approach to identity work for leadership development by using the Growing Together model. Growing Together is a four-phase collective leader identity work process model that helps participants understand how their lived experiences influence their leadership perspectives and aspirations. In a collective environment, participants are empowered and encouraged to examine their own and each other’s reflections to reimagine how they practice leadership to internalize an authentic leader identity.
Objectives
Reconceptualize how they do leadership – redefining the practice by calling out and rejecting stereotypes that have restricted their identities.
Build solidarity with others – participants can find new ways to relate to one another in safe environments to strengthen their conceptualizations, perspectives and beliefs about themselves and leadership by forming a bond forged through shared experiences.
Reimagine themselves as leaders – the collective nature encourages participants to construct coherent narratives of who they are, who they want to become and to internalize their leader identities.
